In Loving Memory

John Anthony McLean

July 27th, 1947 - March 23rd, 2026

 

The world has lost a gentle, kind, and patient man, but heaven has gained another precious soul. On March 23, 2026, John Anthony McLean went home to be with the Lord after a long illness.

He was a committed husband to his wife, Claudette McLean, for 33 years; a caring father to Eleen McLean (Baby Mac, deceased), John Ira Anthony McLean, Damian, Debbie, and Ryan Johnson; and a grandfather to Tyler Jordan McLean. He was the son of Samuel Adulphus and Josephine Margaret McLean and brother of Margaret, Edward, Bonita, Esther and Hazel. He is also remembered by nieces, nephews, and friends. He is predeceased by his siblings Samual Jr., Marvin, Dennis, Lionel, Joycelyn, and Ann. He is survived by his wife, children, and grandson. 

 

A Celebration of Life service will be at Ogden Funeral Home (4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Midland and Sheppard) on April 8, 2026, at 3p.m. followed by a reception at the funeral home, with visitation on April 7, 2026, from 5 to 8p.m.  A cremation service will occur instead of an internment.

Though we can no longer hold you in our arms, you will always be cherished in our hearts. You will be forever remembered, Johnny. Rest in Peace. Love always
