It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edgar Soler, from Sliema, Malta, and living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at the age of 82. Husband of Valerie for almost 56 years and the love of her life; Cherished father of Sarah (Brian) and Stephanie (Steve); Loving Papa of the late Andrew, Kyle, Caitlin , Samantha, Mia, Daniel, Owen and Noah. Beloved brother of the late Anthony, the late Ray and Liz.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the SHN Foundation - Scarborough General Hospital - ICU Unit, would be appreciated by the family as your expression of sympathy. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at both Scarborough General Hospital and Michael Garron Hospital.
