Obituary of Mr. Angelo Evangelista Maglietta

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angelo Maglietta on Monday, September 1, 2025, at the age of 84.

He was the beloved husband of 62 years to Margherita, loving father to Anna, Paolo (Frances) and Angela. 

He was a caring and kind-hearted grandfather to Anthony (Nicole), Melissa (Peter) and a great grandfather to his precious Michael.

 Angelo was born on February 1st, 1941, in Bovino, Italy. 

Angelo was a dearly loved brother (Vicki and Mary), brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many and was respected and admired by his whole family. His children, grandchildren and great grandson were his pride and joy. Although a quiet and humble man, Angelo always enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with his family. He enjoyed the outdoors at the cottage and dancing on weekends with his loving wife. His presence brought laughter and smiles to all. 

He had a passion for writing his own music, playing the accordion and the organ. He was a man of many talents who looked at challenges as opportunities and could build anything from his dreams. 

Angelo was a devoted family man. He never missed an opportunity to offer his time, support or guidance.  His happiest moments were spent surrounded by the people he loved most.

His memories will be held forever in our hearts and he will be deeply missed.
