
Obituary of Mrs. Marie Kathleen Ogle
Marie Kathleen Ogle, 99 from Scarborough died peacefully at Fieldstone Commons on July 4th, 2025.
Marie was born on March 28th, 1926 to parents Kate and Edward Venn in London England. Marie moved to Canada in 1947 as a war bride after WW2. She married Vernon Ogle, a Canadian solider in England in 1945. Their loving marriage spanning almost 6 decades.
She built her new life in Scarborough Ontario where she was very dedicated and involved in the West Ellesmere United Church as a member of the choir.
She loved to quilt, knit and sew. She made beautiful bedspreads, blankets and clothes for friends and family.
After retirement, she joined the West Scarborough Seniors Club, where she met life long friends while enjoying activities and outings.
Marie was an avid camper, having travelled from coast to coast to coast and all across the USA. She also enjoyed skiing, and would often travel internationally to ski.
She often returned to England to visit family and friends and stayed in touch through phone calls and letters.
Marie is preceded in death by her husband Vernon, her two brothers Ted and David, son Craig, daughters in-law Wendy and Eva and grandson Keegan.
Marie is survived by her sons Robert (Ellen) and Brian.
Survived by her grandchildren, Leslie, Laurel, Corena, Cody, Amanda, Wayne, Kristine and Kelly.
Survived by her great grandchildren Claire, Callum, Kain, Camden, Kohen, Léah, Yasmine, Hope, Andrew, Cooper, Larson and Klover.
Survived by her great great grandson Parker.
She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.
