Obituary of Mrs. Evangelia Tsotsos

Evangelia Tsotsos, our loving mother, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025 at the age of 94. Born on November 7, 1928 in Armensko, Greece to parents Dimitrios and Paraskevi. She was the second of five children. Sister to Vanka, Menka, Olga, and George.

She married her loving husband the late Simeon Tsotsos, on November 11, 1951. Together they had four children: Helen (Nick), John (Helen), Niki (Steve), Cathy (Erik). She came to Canada on April 19, 1970 with her husband and children. Shortly after arriving in Canada she started working at Cooper Canada where she made hockey equipment. Her favorite pastime was tending to her garden. However, her true passion in life was knitting. Over the years she donated countless knitted blankets and baby clothing to Scarborough Grace and Sunnybrook Hospitals.

Evangelia was a loving grandmother to Anastasia (Alex), Evangelia (Fudge), Phil, Simon (Vanessa), Vanessa, Christina (Darren), William, and Aleksander. She was also a loving great grandmother to Selena, Eleni, Vivienne, Yasharel, and Jasiah.

Mom, we will miss you and you will be forever in our hearts.
