Obituary of Mrs. Joyce Karuneswaraghanthan

In Loving Memory of Joyce Karuneswaraghanthan

Born in Colombo, Sri Lanka on October 17th, 1952 to George and Minit. She married Karunes in 1977 and had their 1st baby girl Tanya in 1979 and then had their 2nd baby  a son Dhileep in 1982 and then had their 3rd baby a boy Dillon in 1984.

Karunes passed away in 1990 leaving Joyce a widow with 3 children and was able to move on with the help of her brother in law (Wimal) and family.

 Sadness happened again for Joyce when she had to endure the death of Tanya (her eldest and only daughter) in 2009. During that time Joyce found her comfort in faith and became a Born Again Christian, where her faith in our Lord never wavered.

She became a proud Grandmother in 2005 when her eldest Granddaughter Farah was born, again in 2008 with the birth of her 2nd Granddaughter Ariana and a proud Grandmother to her only Grandson Dre in 2012.

Joyce continued to live on her strength and faith in Christ our Lord. Unfortunately she had a tumour that was cancerous and mostly removed but the cancer came back which she fought with her strength and unfortunately she went peacefully at 8:55am to be with our Lord, her Husband and Daughter on May 15th, 2025. Her joy, Love, Faith, Generosity, will be missed.
