Obituary of Mr. Robert Ramos
In Loving Memory of Robert Ian Ramos
1983 - 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert, a beloved son, older brother, and cherished member of a large extended family, who left this world far too soon at the age of 42.
Throughout his life, Robert faced the profound challenges of mental illness with remarkable courage and resilience. Though the battle was long and often solitary, he fought harder than many could ever know. In the end, it was not for lack of strength or will that he left us, but because the burden became too much to bear.
Robert was a man of great intelligence, blessed with a deep and intuitive understanding of cars, computers, and the countless tasks that keep a household running. His mind worked in brilliant ways, and his knowledge was both wide-ranging and precise. Those who knew him recognized a rare kind of genius and a sharp wit, even if he preferred the quiet edges of life over the busy center.
A true nonconformist, Robert never lived according to society’s expectations. He walked his own path, valuing authenticity over appearances and substance over convention. Though he often kept to himself, those who were fortunate enough to know him saw the depth of his spirit and the kindness he carried within.
Robert's life reminds us that strength comes in many forms, and that battles fought in silence are battles nonetheless. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who admired his fierce independence and quiet wisdom.
In honouring Robert's memory, we carry forward his love of discovery, his independent spirit, and his unwavering honesty. May he now find the peace he so bravely sought.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any Mental Health Charity or Organization of your choice, in Robert’s memory.
