Pam and family. My heart is breaking for everyone including myself. My memories of Jim and Pam are so deep in my soul, it's taken me this long to send my condolences.
Skip and I met Jim and Pam in our regular Tim Hortons restaurant many years ago. Everyday whether we went to Timmie's or not, we were always thinking that we'd see Jim and Pam next time. I know Jim and Pam thought the same way.
Now, all we have are memories of Jim and it hurts so much to write this. Pam, our deepest condolences doesn't seem to express our sorrow for you and your families. I know everyone will miss Jim's infectious smile, wit and kindness and I just thank G-d that we were blessed to have known Jim.
God bless you Pam during this unbearable time. Our thoughts and sorrow are with you at this time.
Love you xx

I'm deeply sorry for your loss Katherine and the rest of the Nolan family. I have fond memories of the times we spent together, especially as kids when he would make us laugh with his goofiness. It's clear how much he loved his daughter and grandchildren and that love was truly special. ❤️ Please know that I am here for you and am thinking of you during this difficult time.
As someone once said, "Grief is just love with no place to go". May you find comfort in knowing that the love you shared will always remain in your heart.

Even though years have passed since our divorce, Jim’s passing has caused me to reflect on the life we once shared. I am grieving, as part of me will always have feelings for the man I once shared not only a life, but a child with as well. Jim was an amazing person in so many ways and welcomed me and my two children into his life without hesitation; he was great with kids, had a great sense of humor, a big heart and was a very caring person which are only some of the qualities I loved about him.
In January 1987, our daughter Katherine was born, the most joyous years of Jim's life was when he became a father. One beautiful memory I will always cherish is of him standing over his newborn daughter in the delivery room, talking to her in a soft voice and trying to console her first cries. Then he picked her up and held her for the first time and she settled quietly into his arms.
That child was his most precious gift, he was so proud of her.
Although we parted ways, we both promised to always be there for Katherine. Over the years we shared many milestones together from our daughter getting married, to our grandchildren being born. I remember being in the waiting room with him in London awaiting the birth of Katherine’s twins — Jim was pacing the floor, anxiously waiting to get any news. His grandchildren brought him so much joy, he loved them dearly and played an active role as their Grampa.
Jim loved Katherine with all his heart and always wanted the best for her, being his only child, he did tend to spoil her just a little. Lol
Even though our lives parted, and we went our separate ways we respected each other. I always wished Jim the best and was overjoyed when he had found his sole mate within Pamela. He seemed very happy and enjoyed his retirement years with her, making memories and travelling the world.
Jim will be missed by so many, and seeing my daughter grieving the loss of her father has been hard to see, as filling her father’s shoes will be a task I cannot achieve alone.
Even though Katherine is a grown women now I know how much she relied on her dad for advice and guidance — I know that Jim will be up in heaven watching over her and his grandchildren and sending down his love.
Jim will always live in our hearts and memories; and will live on in Katherine. During the challenging times Katherine just stop and listen in the silence, and you will hear his voice.
Rest in peace Jim, please know that I’ve got your back covered when it comes to our daughter Katherine.
Lucille

We lost a good one, Jim was my stepdad for several years, He will always be remembered for his sense of humor. He was always there when I needed him, He even went into the room with my son for his first stitches when I could not. My fondest memory of him is when he showed me how to skate in Victoria park. He showed me how to work hard and to always do your best. He even used to invite my Dad in for coffee when he would come pick me and Angele up. Jim was a great man and he will never be forgotten. Goodbye Jim and thank you for everything you did for us. I only wish I could have said goodbye before it was too late
