I’ve been thinking about you a lot lately, especially now that I’m an English teacher. I think you would have been happy to know and I wanted to say thank you.
I joined halfway through Grade 5, and you made such a difference in my life. You were so kind, so patient, and so nurturing during a time when I really needed that stability. Your class always felt like a safe place to be, and your warmth left a lasting impression on me.
Now that I’m teaching, I think about the way you made students feel seen and supported. You truly were one of the good ones - the kind of teacher students never forget. I wish I had told you more clearly just how much you meant to me.
Thank you, Mr. Davidson. You’re deeply missed.
