Peter Ross Gillespie died peacefully on October 2, 2024 at Birchmount Hospital Toronto Ontario.

 

He is survived by his devoted partner of 28 years Jenny Wong, his brother Michael (Christine) and their sons David and Raymond, his former wife Gabrielle Lacroix and her children Michael and Sylvie, his cousins Derek (Angelique), Tim (Maureen) and cousins Johnnie, Ron, Richard, Linda, Phillip, David, Bruce, Steven, and Lynn in Canada, Gregory and Christopher in Syracuse NY, and Janice, Julian, and Lesley in the UK.

 

Special thanks to Jenny’s brothers and sisters, especially to her  brother Marco and niece Melinda who have been of immense support in this difficult time

 

 

He is predeceased by his father Ross Raymond Gillespie and Olive Marian (nee Booth).

 

Peter was deeply dedicated to his love of nature and animals, to music of various kinds especially jazz and organ music. He worked in organ restoration and modification for many years under his business colleagues and dear friends Jim and Don Anderson.
