I was taking a peaceful early day break along Kingston’s Lake Ontario waterfront, when I came upon a bench dedicated to the memory of Mr Matthew Mezciems, a fellow Queen’s alum. Tho I had never met Matthew, a read through his obituary showed me that the world is decidedly less fortunate without him in it. I sincerely hope his family and friends have found a measure of peace since his passing. The view this morning is quite calming.
