There’s a period of my life I look back on that always puts a smile on my face, and Clayton was a huge part of that time. I got to spend time with him in so many different settings - PTC, nightlife, vacation. I’m grateful for all the fun and great conversations. Although recent years our lives didn’t cross paths, but I’m grateful for the time I spent with him and the memories made. Clayton had a beautiful personality, and was such a genuine person. I don’t think of that time without thinking of him. Thank you so much for the good times and memories Clayton ❤️

Meeting Clayton five years ago, the connection was instantaneous, no hesitation, no awkwardness, just immediate understandings . He became a true brother to me, a deeply valued mentor whose wisdom I always took to heart, and a friend who promised big adventures, vacations, and future experiences that he was so excited to share. Clayton’s personality was completely magnetic. He had a rare gift where he could walk into a room of ten strangers and build a genuine connection with every single one of them, leaving them feeling truly seen and listened to. He was also fiercely, unapologetically himself. Who else could proudly wear the exact same police costume every single Halloween, entirely unbothered by embarrassment, completely owning it and making it iconic. He was a profound thinker, a progressive soul, and someone who was simply full of life, hope, and dreams. He brought the best energy wherever he went, always ready to blast his favorite house music and celebrate the 90s and 2000s divas he loved so much. Clayton was a beautiful, vibrant soul who left a permanent mark on my life. He is missed immensely, but the joy and laughter he gave us will live on forever. Dance in peace my love. Sammy

I first met Clayton when I was in 7th grade, at a time when I was being bullied and felt so incredibly alone. He along with Adam, and Dustin made me feel surrounded by love and laughter and acceptance. Clayton always brought the energy. If there was a good time to be had. There he was. And he made sure you were included. Even since moving to another country and not having talked for decades. It breaks my heart to hear of his passing. The world is surly lost an incredible light. I hope everyone's fondest memories comfort them in their grief. Clayton was a wonderful person who made everyone feel better, just by being around him. I will miss you my friend.

Clayton in every interaction over the years always made an effort to connect, praise and celebrate. He always sought to include me in the conversation, make me feel welcome and seen. I will always appreciate the times we got to spend together and catch up.

Clayton coming back into my life should have happened sooner, but I’m grateful he did. His laugh was infectious. Clayton held his closest friends near to his heart and had the highest hopes for them. He was amazing to sit around and chat with and likewise to act a fool with at a party. I’m going to miss him, and think of all the great times we had together often. You are gone too soon Clayton. You never wanted sympathy when you heard about your diagnosis, and I refused to give it. But now I want to give it out to all those whom he touched so deeply. The people I know, and the people I don’t, can all agree that Clayton was a cut above the rest and will remembered always with love. Dustin
