Aunty Marie, my late mother Muriel Spence Sinnette's sister from Trinidad, was a cherished part of our lives. I fondly remember my mother’s letters and phone calls with her, sharing family updates. After my mom’s passing 18 years ago, I kept in touch with Aunty Marie, and I will miss her greatly.

Sincere condolences to Tony, Monty and Barbara on the passing of your mum. It was just one year ago I met your mum for the first time and was hoping that we would have met on more occasions. Never dreamt it would have been the first and last time. I am grateful that I got the opportunity to meet her. I enjoyed those few hours we spent together. Sorry that I cannot be there for funeral but I am looking forward to meeting you all again sometime in the not too distant future. I pray that God would grant you the strength you need to make it through this period that I know would be difficult for you. May Marie rest in peace in the arms of her Lord and Savior.

My condolences to Tony, Keith, Barbara, and grandchildren for the passing of your mother and grandmother. Marie was my friend for over 50 years we worked together in St.Vincent in the public service before she migrated to Canada. Marie beloved and believed in the institution of family. She was the glue that kept her family together. I had the honor of raising a toast to her on her 75th birthday—she was the life of any party. When we last spoke she was looking forward to returning to SVG for a vacation and she expressed a desire to share a drink with me and some salt ham. However, God had other plans for my dear friend. Rest in peace, we will all miss your jokes and your infectious laughter.
