Some extraordinary persons -- Hugh was one of them -- stand very tall in our memories even when we have not been in contact for decades. My high school memories from Agincourt Collegiate are of a much loved and respected young man -- gentle, athletic, infectious sense of humour and an amazing ability to soar to the sky in the pole vault. What a man! What a gift from the Creator! My condolences to Susan and the whole family. Stan Bunston

Hugh was a person with whom we always enjoyed sharing time. He will be greatly missed by his whole family and many friends. I pray that God's loving grace will cover all who gather to morn this loss and feel the peace that only God can give.

To Hugh's wife, Susan, and family, My deepest sympathy for your great loss. Hugh was my classmate in high school and I will remember his gentle smile, his great sense of humour and his athletic abilities. He will be missed by so many.
